摘要:
The Internet has aIIowed for a surge in the growth of technoIogy-mediated Iearning,incIuding
distance Iearning,in higher education;yet,much of the momentum for this growth has its roots in forces spawning
the New Economy and the Next Society. In this paper,reIationships among the New Economy,the Next Society,
and teaching / Iearning practices in higher education wiII be expIored,and recommendations for and practices
concerning technoIogy-mediated Iearning in higher education wiII be identified.
